Missouri State football lands Kinkaid School WR

Missouri State football grabbed a late commitment from a high school prospect for the 2025 season.

Jordan Manuel, a 6-foot-2, 200-pounder who lists himself as an athlete, announced his commitment to the Bears on social media on Sunday evening.

Manuel is coming off his senior season at The Kinkaid School (Houston). He also received offers from Houston Christian, Army, Air Force and Navy.

During his senior season, Manuel caught 60 passes for 824 yards and six touchdowns. He also had one interception on the defensive side. In his social media post announcing his decision, he tagged the Bears’ wide receivers’ and safeties’ coaches, showing his position may still be undecided.

Missouri State addressed wide receiver and safety during the spring transfer portal window. The Bears landed Sacramento State transfer wide receiver Mekai Cope on Sunday evening. In the last month, they’ve also added three players capable of playing safety, including Arkansas transfer Christian Ford and Florida Atlantic transfer Antonio Smith.
