The Oregon Ducks have been on a role in the recruiting world over the past couple of weeks, with the commitment of 5-star EDGE Richard Wesley, and several other predictions for 5-star and 4-star players. The next couple of months will be telling for how good Oregon’s 2026 class can be, with a number of official visits and commitments to come.
One of the top players on Oregon’s board, 5-star safety Jetty Washington, was in Oregon during the spring football season, and he is reportedly very high on what the Ducks can offer. According to On3’s Steve Wiltfong, Oregon should be considered one of the favorites to land Washington this cycle.
According to 247Sports, Washington is rated as the No. 18 overall player in the class, and the No. 2 safety. Standing at 6-foot-5, 200 pounds, Washington is a massive defensive back and would offer a lot of length in the secondary that Oregon has been pursuing over the past couple of recruiting cycles.
Washington is also strongly considering Texas A&M, USC, and Alabama.
