Every Texas Longhorns game in 2025 will be “Must See TV.” Texas has one of the biggest brands in the sport and now has the most famous quarterback in Arch Manning. UT also plays some big name opponents, both in non-conference play and in the SEC. ESPN says two of the Longhorns games are in the top four must watch games of the season.
Texas opens with the Ohio State Buckeyes on Aug. 30 at the Horseshoe in Columbus, OH. The Buckeyes are defending national champions and eliminated the Horns in the college football semifinal last year in the Cotton Bowl. This will be Arch Manning’s first official game as the Texas starter. The storylines go on and on.
ESPN says that game is the No. 1 “Must Watch” game of the year.

Another Texas game made the list. Coming in at the No. 4 “Must Watch” game of the year is the Longhorns trip to Athens, GA to take on the Georgia Bulldogs. Last year, the two SEC powers met twice with the ‘Dawgs winning both games. Will it be different this year? The game being in Georgia won’t help the Horns.

Ohio State makes this list three times, including its games against Michigan and Penn State. Georgia is on the list twice, with its game against Alabama included.
