Michigan State football is the latest big-time program to extend an offer to an athlete prospect from the 2028 class.
Anthony Lopez Jr. of Paramus, N.J. announced last week that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. Lopez made the offer from the Spartans known by posting on his social media X account.
Lopez Jr. is an unranked athlete in the 2028 class, according to Rivals and 247Sports. He is listed at 6-foot-1 and 170 pounds, and Paramus Catholic.
While Lopez is not ranked or rated currently on the recruiting sites, that should change in good time based on the number of major programs showing interest his way. According to Rivals, he already holds offers from 10 schools and most are from power four schools. Outside of Michigan State, Lopez also has offers from Auburn, Penn State, Duke, Boston College, Pitt, Syracuse, UConn, East Carolina and Temple.
