Michigan State football has found their latest prospect to extend an offer to in the 2026 recruiting class. Detroit (MI) native Michael Dukes has received the offer from the Spartans coaching staff.

With all of the buzz in the Michigan State community being centered around the potential loss of Kory Amachree to Kansas, the Spartans coaching staff has moved swiftly to continue the movement along their board.

Dukes is a 6-foot-1, 195 pound running back that plays at Detroit’s Martin Luther King High School. He is currently committed to Toledo, but anticipates taking visits to Rutgers and Michigan State in the summer, with two other weekends available for other offers that are expected to come in.

It is expected that MSU will take two running backs in 2026, and Dukes can certainly play into that equation.
