UGA predicted to flip one of Auburn’s top ranked commitments

Auburn Tigers four-star linebacker commit Shadarius Toodle out of Cottage Hill Christian Academy (Alabama) has now been predicted to flip his commitment to Georgia. Toodle is coming off a visit to Georgia this past weekend. The consensus four-star is getting recruited hard by coach Kirby Smart.

Toodle and numerous other elite recruits visited Georgia for UGA’s scavenger hunt weekend.

“Georgia is really make a hard push for me,” Toodle said. “I had a great time and they are definitely No. 1 on my list right now and it was great meeting Jalon Walker everyone was saying we was twins. But he was cool person to be around and just the background of Georgia linebackers talks for itself,” he told On3 (subscription needed).

Toodle being around this past season’s Butkus Award winner is a pitch that not many schools can offer. Co-defensive coordinator/linebackers coach Glenn Schumann is as good of a recruiting position coach as anyone in the country. Schumann has coached three Butkus Award winners at UGA.

With the hopes of a linebacker class featuring top recruits like Nick Abrams, Tyler Atkinson and Shadrius Toodle there will be a scenario of the rich getting richer since Georgia already possess one of the nation’s best linebacker groups.
