Auburn is working to flip Traeviss Stevenson, the No. 2 commit in Georgia Tech’s 2026 recruiting class.
Auburn football is working to flip one of Georgia Tech’s top commitments with its latest offer.
Traeviss Stevenson, a three-star cornerback from Brooks County High School in Quitman, Georgia, announced this week that he has received an offer from Auburn. He is the second-highest rated commitment to the Yellow Jackets’ 2026 recruiting class and ranks No. 46 nationally at his position.
He committed to Georgia Tech in March, however, his pledge to Brent Key’s squad is in jeopardy. Christian Clemente of Auburn Undercover reports that Stevenson scheduled an official visit to Auburn shortly after receiving his offer, and will join a long list of visitors, including five-star tight end Kaiden Prothro, four-star linebacker Jordan Campbell, and four-star DL Kamhariyan Johnson, by visiting Auburn on June 10.
Stevenson finished third in tackles last season for Brooks County, totalling 74. He deflected 10 passes last season, recorded for interceptions, and picked up one fumble recovery. He logged three pass deflections with a tackle in the GHSA Class A-D2 championship game against Bowdon High School last season.
Auburn football’s 2026 haul ranks No. 33 according to 247Sports, and has one defensive back commit at this point in the cycle, three-star safety Wayne Henry of St. Francis Academy in Baltimore, Maryland.
