Five MetroWest and Milford-area high school football players will participate in the 47th annual Shriner’s All-Star Classic.The game will be held at Hormel Stadium in Medford on June 13th.
Five MetroWest and Milford-area high school football players will take the field for one final time at the 47th annual Shriner’s All-Star Classic.
The game will take place at 7 pm. Friday, June 13th at Hormel Stadium in Medford. It is typically played at Bentley but was moved because of construction at the football field.
Players from the North and South are selected by the coaching staff in January and asked to help raise money for the game. The Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association selects the coaching staff at the December meeting of the executive board. Coaches can only coach in it once every three years.
Medway coach Ted Rigney will be an assistant for the South squad.

North roster
Max Dresens, Wayland
The Bucknell-bound senior was a MHSFCA all-state selection and a Division 4 all-star. The Dual County League MVP ran for nearly 3,000 yards and averaged 80 tackles per season over the past two years.
Owen Finnegan, Wayland
He was named a Dual County League all-star this fall as the Warriors advanced to the Division 4 quarterfinals. Finnegan averaged 70 tackles per season and was the 2023 DCL defensive player of the year. He will play baseball at Lesley University next season.
