2025 Penn State Football: Donnie Harbour player profile

Going into the 2025 football season, Nittany Lions Wire will examine each player listed on the Penn State roster. Over the preseason, each profile will cover the player’s background, how recruiting websites rated them coming out of high school, and what role they will play for James Franklin this season.

Offensive lineman Donnie Harbour saw no action in 2024 while redshirting, but he was named the coaching staff’s Developmental Squad’s Offensive Player of the Week five times during his first year as a Nittany Lion. Harbour enters his second season having added weight and strength, and he’ll search for his first game action in the fall.

Preseason Player Profile

Recruiting Rankings

Class of 2024: 3-star by 247Sports, On3 and Rivals, 4-star by ESPN, No. 41 interior offensive lineman per 247Sports

Harbour was considered one of the top recruits from Wisconsin in the class, receiving offers from Ohio State, Oregon, Michigan and others.

Depth Chart Overview

Penn State lost a couple pieces but returns a majority of its two-deep at offensive line, leaving few snaps to go around for younger players like Harbour. His big frame indicated he’s ready for the physicality of Big Ten football, but with several veterans above him in the depth chart, playing time isn’t guaranteed. While it’s possible he works into a starting role in the future, it’s unlikely Harbour sees much time in 2025.
