Colorado football offers UCLA OL Walker Anderson

Colorado and head coach Deion Sanders have been focused on improving their offensive line significantly during the spring transfer portal window.

The Buffaloes have already brought in transfers from Memphis and Maryland to add depth and potential starters to the group. However, they aren’t done. They are bringing in former UCLA freshman Walker Andersen for a visit and offering him this week.

Andersen is a mountain of a man, standing at 6-foot-8 and 335 pounds. He primarily plays guard but can swing out to tackle if necessary. He did not appear in a game for UCLA last season and would come to Colorado with four years of eligibility.

Andersen displays great power in both the passing and running game, and his 82-inch wingspan helps him quickly get his hands on defenders’ chests. While still in need of development in some areas, his upside should be more than enough to excite Buffs fans.

Colorado’s offensive line has been an issue since Sanders’ arrival as head coach, but the group has steadily improved thanks to additions like former 5-star tackle Jordan Seaton. Without quarterback Shedeur Sanders, the Buffaloes’ offensive line will be under much more scrutiny to help whoever leads the Colorado offense.
