Michigan State football hosting Omaha RB Nelsyn Wheeler on OV

Running backs in the 2026 recruiting class have been all of the discussion around the Michigan State fanbase, with 4-star Kory Amachree committing to Kansas and 4-star Damon Ferguson scheduling an official visit, and now, a 3-star running back has scheduled an official visit with MSU.

Nelsyn Wheeler, a speedster from Omaha (NE), has cancelled his Wisconsin official visit in order to schedule an official visit with the Spartans on June 13.

Wheeler, a 3-star prospect, runs a very impressive 10.77 100m dash, and at 5’9″ and 200 pounds, projects too be a very good scat back at the next level.

Aside from Michigan State, he will be taking official visits to Cincinnati, Illinois and Kansas.
