Michigan State football is the latest power four program to extend an offer to quickly rising offensive tackle Charlie Thom of Avon, Conn.
Thom posted on his social media platform X earlier this week that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. Thom is a three-star offensive tackle prospect in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2026 class. He holds a recruiting rating of 87 on 247Sports.
Thom ranks as the No. 70 offensive tackle in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2026 class. He is also listed as the No. 5 player from Connecticut in the class.
Michigan State is one of nearly 20 schools to offer Thom, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Boston College, Wake Forest, Akron, Bowling Green, Buffalo, James Madison, Liberty, Nebraska, Syracuse, UConn, Virginia Tech, Army, Bryant, Princeton, Dartmouth, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Stony Brook.
