2025 Penn State Football: Henry Boehme player profile

Going into the 2025 football season, Nittany Lions Wire will examine each player listed on the Penn State roster. Over the preseason, each profile will cover the player’s background, how recruiting websites rated them coming out of high school, and what role they will play for James Franklin this season.

Offensive lineman Henry Boehme is entering his third season at Penn State this fall, looking to earn his first snaps in the blue and white. Boehme redshirted his first year and didn’t see action last season amid a crowded offensive line group that may have the most depth since Franklin took over as head coach. Here’s a look at Boehme heading into the 2025 season.

Preseason Player Profile

Hometown: Birmingham, Alabama

Height: 6-5

Weight: 281 lb

Class in 2025: Redshirt sophomore

Recruiting Rankings

Class of 2024: Unranked

Boehme wasn’t ranked by recruiting services out of Mountain Brook High School, which finished as a runner-up in the state championship during his senior year. He had preferred walk-on offers from Penn State, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, UAB and others before deciding on the Nittany Lions.

Depth Chart Overview

Boehme hasn’t been able to find the field as a Nittany Lion, a trend which may continue in 2025. With most of Penn State’s offensive line depth returning, it’ll remain tough for Boehme to earn playing time this fall.
