The 5-foot-10, 190-pounder totaled 69 tackles, 15 PBUs and 2 INTs over the last two seasons.

The Colorado Buffaloes and Deion Sanders landed their second transfer portal commit of the weekend from a Mountain West school.
Former Wyoming cornerback Tyrecus Davis committed to Colorado. The Buffaloes and Davis have had mutual interest as Colorado offered the cornerback on his official visit on May 13. Davis spent two years with the Cowboys and will have one year of eligibility left with Colorado.
In his time with the Cowboys, Davis tallied two interceptions and 15 pass breakups. While being 5-foot-10, the cornerback also gets active the in the open field with 60 solo tackles, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. In 2024 with the Cowboys, he had 42 total tackles (36 solo), a forced fumble, eight pass deflections and an interception.
Davis the sixth defensive back transfer commit for Colorado this spring and the 11th overall. The Buffs’ spring portal additions include defensive backs Teon Parks, Terrance Love, John Slaughter and Noah King. Davis joins the Buffaloes as the 30th portal addition of the offseason.
Originally from Greenville, Texas, he spent three seasons at Navarro Community College before committing to Wyoming. Over his JUCO career, he tallied 80 total tackles, five interceptions, 18 pass breakups and two forced fumbles and a pick-six.
