An edge rusher from the Lone Star State has locked in an official visit to Michigan State for next month.
Obinna Umeh of Houston announced this past week that he’ll be taking an official visit to Michigan State in June. He’ll officially be visiting Michigan State on June 13, according to a post from his social media X account.
Umeh is an unranked prospect on both Rivals and 247Sports. He is listed at 6-foot-4 and 225 pounds, and plays for St. Thomas, according to 247Sports.
Michigan State extended him an offer in March, and is one of nearly 25 schools to offer him, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Duke, Stanford, Georgia Tech, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Pitt, Army, Colorado State, Louisiana Tech, Rice, Sacramento State, San Diego State, Texas State, UNLV, Tulsa and UTEP.
According to 247Sports, Umeh is set to also take official visits to Duke and Stanford. He’ll visit Duke on June 6 and Stanford on June 20.
