Wisconsin football class of 2026 target, three-star defensive lineman Djidjou Bah, released his list of eight finalists on Friday. The Badgers made the cut, along with Indiana, NC State, Michigan State, Northwestern, Iowa, Georgia Tech, and Memphis.
247Sports ranks Bah as the No. 148th defensive lineman in the class and the No. 60 recruit from Tennessee. He has official visits scheduled to Wisconsin on May 30, Iowa on June 6, Indiana on June 13 and Michigan State on June 20, plus already completed one to Northwestern. The recruiting service has yet to release a prediction for his commitment decision.
Wisconsin’s class of 2026 currently ranks No. 44 nationally with seven players committed. The three-star lineman is one of the program’s high-priority targets at the position, especially after King Liggins’ commitment to Illinois.
Bah caught up with Badgers Wire after releasing his list of finalists. Here is what he had to say about his recruitment and interest in the Badgers:
BW: You hold offers from Northwestern, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan State, and Wisconsin. What stands out to you about the Big Ten and was playing in the conference a priority for you during your recruitment?
Bah: The Big Ten is the best conference in football, in my opinion. To have the opportunity to play in the Big Ten is a blessing. I do want to play in a top tier conference like the Big Ten or SEC during my college career.
BW: Where do you see yourself fitting in with the Badgers?
Bah: I see myself fitting in a four-man front and also playing the three technique.
BW: What is one area of your game you’re looking to improve?
Bah: I am focused on improving my hand placement and playing more with my hands, while also having a lower pad level.
BW: Do you have a biggest influence in football whether that be a parent, player, or just someone who got you…
