USC football 2025 schedule begins to take shape with announced start times and TV assignments
Believe it or not, the start of the 2025 college football season is just three months away. With the new year getting closer, on Thursday, the Big Ten, among numerous other conferences, announced the kickoff times and television networks for all games during the first three weeks of the season.
There was a lot of information to process on Thursday with all the revelations across all the conferences. We will get to USC very shortly, but one big national story from the Big Ten was Ohio State and Texas getting the Fox Big Noon Saturday slot in Week 1 on August 30. That was long suspected, but now it is official. Ohio State wanted to avoid the noon slot in any way it could, but Texas was not interested in helping the Buckeyes.
CBS Sports also announced several early-season Big Ten games, carrying from Week 1 on August 30 through Week 4 on September 20. USC is part of that story, as you will see below:
USC football Week 1, August 30
USC’s season opener against Missouri State at the Coliseum on August 30 will kick off at 4:30 p.m. Pacific time. It will air on Big Ten Network.
USC football Week 2, September 6
The following week (September 6), the Trojans will once again play a home game at 4:30 p.m., this time on FS1 against old friend Clay Helton and Georgia Southern.
USC football Week 3, September 13
In Week 3 (September 13), USC will make its first road trip of the 2025 season when the Trojans open Big Ten play on the road at Purdue. Kickoff of that game will be at 12:30 p.m. Pacific/3:30 p.m. Eastern on CBS.
USC football Week 11 moves to Friday night slot
It was announced that USC’s Week 11 home game against Northwestern will be played on Friday night, November 7. Kickoff will be at 6 p.m. Pacific time on Fox.
