Nebraska football to host Hawaii quarterback Hunter Fujikawa on Sunday

Nebraska football will host class of 2028 quarterback Hunter Fujikawa on Sunday. He made the announcement on social media.

Fujikawa is not ranked in the 247 Sports composite or regular rankings. However, he does have a growing offer sheet. California, Hawaii, San Jose State, UNLV, and Utah have all extended offers his way. Most recently, he was offered by the Spartans on May 19.

The quarterback hails from Hawaii and measures in at 6 feet 2 inches, 200 pounds. Currently, Nebraska football does not have any commitments in the 2028 recruiting class. However, they aim to acquire quarterbacks for future classes and establish a solid pipeline at the position. Fujikawa would be a step in the right direction and give Nebraska continued stability at the position.

June is said to be a busy month, with several visits and camps slated for the next couple of weeks. This is a crucial month for the Huskers, as they look to make a dent in future recruiting classes.
