MADISON – The Wisconsin football team added more length and athleticism to its defense on June 1.

Wenzel shared the news on X.
“I’M STAYING HOME,” he wrote on the post announce his decision.
Wenzel’s stock has climbed quickly in 2025. Since the start of the year he he announced 16 Division I offers on X with Power Four offers coming from UW, Michigan State, Kansas and Oklahoma.
He averaged 10 tackles per game last season for North, which finished 5-5. He also forced four fumbles and blocked three field goals.
