Colorado State’s Jalen Dupree on his increased role in 2025
A look at CSU running back Jalen Dupree heading into his sophomore season with the Rams.
Kansas tight end Arley Morrell committed to Colorado State University’s football program.Morrell, a three-star recruit, chose CSU over offers from other schools, including future conference rivals Oregon State and Washington State.As a junior, Morrell recorded 19 receptions for 446 yards and four touchdowns.
The Colorado State football program has beat out Pac-12 teams for the commitment of a tight end from Kansas.
Arley Morrell announced on X on June 4 his commitment to CSU.
The Rams will be in the Pac-12 by the time Morrell would play for CSU, and he also holds offers from future conference mates Oregon State and Washington State. He also has reported offers from Wake Forest, Texas State, New Mexico, Marshall and others.
The 6-foot-5, 210-pound Morrell had 19 receptions for 446 yards (23.5 yards per catch) and four touchdowns last season as a junior at Pratt High School in Kansas. He also had 107 rush yards.
Morrell is rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports.
He also competes in basketball and track and field. Morrell was recently part of Pratt’s 4X400 relay team that won a Kansas state title. He also placed fifth in the state in high jump (top mark of 6-foot-4).
Morrell is the fifth publicly known commit in CSU’s 2026 recruiting class and is now in the top spot in the group by 247Sports’ ranking.
