The Miami Hurricanes continue to stock offensive-line talent in their 2026 recruiting class.
On Tuesday afternoon, three-star in-state prospect Canon Pickett committed to Miami, announcing his commitment on social media.
“I’m home!” he wrote on social media.
Pickett, the younger brother of Miami edge rusher Booker Pickett Jr. and son of former UM defensive end Booker Pickett, is rated the No. 43 interior offensive lineman and No. 468 player in the 2026 class. Pickett chose the Hurricanes over offers from Florida and Clemson, among others.
Pickett, listed at 6-4 and 320 pounds, is a standout at Tampa Bay Tech and offers versatility, power and toughness, a UM source said. Pickett took a visit to UM this past weekend.
Pickett is the sixth offensive lineman in the Hurricanes’ 2026 class, joining five-star Jackson Cantwell, four-star Ben Congdon and three-stars Joel Ervin, JJ Sparks and Rhys Woodrow.
