Top kicker recruit commits to Georgia football

The Georgia Bulldogs have the strongest special teams unit from the class of 2026. Three-star kicker recruit Harran Zureikat, the No. 1-ranked kicker in the nation, announced he is committing to the Georgia Bulldogs on his X account. With punter Wade Register committing to Georgia in recent days, Georgia has now earned a commitment from both the nation’s top punter and kicker.

Zureikat is a three-star prospect from the class of 2026. The 6-foot, 180-pound specialist plays high school football as a kicker and punter for Fox Chapel Area High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He has had official visits with Boston College and Penn State and 247Sports’ Crystal Ball predicted him to commit to Penn State before he chose Georgia. He still has official visits scheduled with Syracuse and Pitt, though he could decide to shut down his recruitment.

Georgia has been on a massive recruiting hot surge, earning recent commitments from Zureikat, No. 1 punter Wade Register, and three-star interior offensive linemen Zykie Helton and Zachary Lewis. The Bulldogs have also seen four-star cornerback Justice Fitzpatrick, four-star safety Jordan Smith, and three-star wide receiver Brady Marchese shut down further recruitment efforts from other schools.

Zureikat is ranked by Kohl’s Kicking as the No. 1 kicker and No. 4 punter in the nation.
