Georgia football has flipped a top-100 national recruit from another SEC program.
Four-star cornerback Caden Harris, from Haywood High in Brownsville, Tenn., committed to the Bulldogs on Saturday morning, June 14, he confirmed on his X account.
Harris is the nation’s No. 11 cornerback and the No. 85 rated overall player by the 247Sports Composite.
Harris had committed to Vanderbilt on April 29. His other finalists then included Georgia, Auburn, Missouri and Notre Dame, according to the Jackson (Tenn.) Sun.
The 6-foot Harris had 30 tackles, seven passes defended and an interception last season while averaging 30 yards per punt return.
Harris is Georgia’s fifth top-100 recruit in the 2026 class and third defensive back, joining four-star cornerback Justice Fitzpatrick from Fort Lauderdale and four-star Houston County safety Jordan Smith.
Georgia now is up to No. 4 in the team recruiting rankings.
