Franklin High School three-star athlete Luke Thompson committed to Tennessee football, he announced on June 14 via social media.
Thompson, who played last season at wide receiver and defensive back, committed to the Vols after an official visit to Knoxville on June 6, according to 247Sports.
Thompson also has tweeted about offers from Miami (Ohio), MTSU, Army, Navy and Air Force.
Thompson is Tennessee’s 10th commitment in the 2026 class and the fifth in-state player to pledge for the Vols.
The two-way player was The Tennessean’s Region 6-6A Athlete of the Year in 2024 in one of the toughest regions in Tennessee high school football.
