Michigan State football gains commitment from 3-star DE Fameitau Siale

Michigan State football’s coaching staff is hot on the recruiting trail, picking up another commitment in the 2026 recruiting class, and earning their second commitment of the day on Sunday.

Fameitau Siale has made his commitment to Michigan State, choosing the Spartans over his hometown school, Washington.

A Seattle (WA) native, attending the Washington high school powerhouse O’Dea, Siale is a big time recruiting win for Spartans defensive line coach Legi Suiaunoa. A 6-foot-4, 250 pound strong side defensive end, Siale is ranked as a high 3-star prospect, and has the offer list to back up the rating. Both On3 and 247Sports have him ranked as the No. 55 defensive end in the nation.

The Spartans were able to earn the commitment from the defensive line product through an amazing official visit on May 30, which carried the momentum for the Spartans into knocking off the hometown Huskies and a host of other power conference schools that offered.

Siale is the 15th commit in the MSU class and joins Kayd Coffman, Braylon Hodge, Cory House, Eddie Whiting, KJ Deriso, Brayden Thomas, Joey Caudill, Eliyjah Caldwell-Hardy, Christopher Knauls, Eli Bickel, Collin Campbell, Quinn Buckey, TJ Umenyiora and Jordan Vann who are all a part of the Spartans class.
