Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks look like they are about to go on a hot streak in the recruiting world.
After adding 4-star wide receiver Messiah Hampton to the 2026 class on Friday, Oregon hosted another high-profile group of visitors this weekend, keeping the ball rolling after hosting six 5-star players the weekend before. On Sunday, On3’s Steve Wiltfong logged a prediction for the Ducks to pick up a commitment from one of those 5-star players who was in town earlier this month — safety Jett Washington.
Washington stands at 6-foot-5, 200 pounds, and is rated by 247Sports as the No. 18 player in the 2026 class and the No. 2 safety in the nation. He has Oregon among his top schools, along with Texas A&M, USC, and Alabama.
Should Washington end up committing to Oregon, it would be the second 5-star player that the Ducks have added to the 2026 class, joining No. 1 ranked TE Kendre Harrison.
