Penn State lands commitment from Elijah Littlejohn

Penn State secured another blue chip recruit for its recruiting class on Monday.

After a brief quiet period on the recruiting front, the Nittany Lions picked up a commitment from 4-star edge rusher Elijah Littlejohn. He’s is listed at 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds, likely looking to pack on a little weight before arriving on campus.

Littlejohn ranks as the No. 19 recruit from the state of North Carolina, the No. 36 recruit at his position and the No. 378 overall player in the 2026 class. He becomes the first North Carolina native to commit to Penn State since offensive lineman Eagan Boyer in 2024.

Littlejohn will enter his final season at West Mecklenburg High School this fall before heading to campus along with a group that currently ranks as the No. 6 recruiting class nationally and third best in the Big Ten behind No. 1 USC and No. 2 Ohio State. The Nittany Lions passed Texas A&M with Littlejohn’s commitment.

Penn State is now up to 20 total commitments in its class, meaning there are likely only a few more commitments coming this cycle. The unit has the potential to be James Franklin’s first top-10 class since 2022 and third ever.
