Chiefs WR Rashee Rice makes bold statement ahead of the 2025 season

The Kansas City Chiefs have openly discussed their intentions to increase offensive production through big plays in the upcoming season. Head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ statements are being echoed by their standout third-year wide receiver.

According to a report from Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, wide receiver Rashee Rice believes the offense will exceed expectations in 2025. He spoke about the prospect of next season while co-hosting a football camp over the weekend.

“We got a lot of guys,” Rice said. “We deep in depth in the wide receiver group. We’re going to be explosive this year. We’re just excited to put on a show, to be honest. We know it’s gonna be a show. Only thing in the way right now is time, so we’re just waiting patiently.”

Rice is recovering from a torn LCL suffered during the Chiefs’ Week 4 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, costing him the remainder of the season. He set franchise rookie records for receiving touchdowns and receptions and was well on his way to bettering those marks before the injury.
