Kesean Bowman, 5-star WR, gets offer

Brentwood Academy WR Kesean Bowman talks recruiting, George MacIntyre

Brentwood Academy sophomore receiver Kesean Bowman talks recruiting, sitting out last season after transferring and playing with George MacIntyre

Brentwood Academy football wide receiver Kesean Bowman has picked up an offer from Ohio State football.

Bowman, a Class of 2027 recruit, announced the offer on social media on June 17 after attending a camp at Ohio State the same day.

The 6-foot, 174-pound Bowman is a five-star recruit, according to the 247Sports Composite, as well as the No. 5 receiver in the nation and No. 1 player in Tennessee for the class of 2027.

The offer from coach Ryan Day and the reigning national champion Buckeyes brings Bowman’s total to 35, including Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma, Oregon and Tennessee.

Bowman caught 56 passes for 1,023 yards and eight touchdowns as a sophomore, his first playing for Brentwood Academy, and helped the Eagles go 9-4 and reach the semifinals of the TSSAA Division II-AA playoffs. He didn’t play his freshman season, as he was ineligible after transferring from Knoxville Catholic to Brentwood Academy.

Bowman is the nephew of Adarius Bowman, a former All-Big 12 wide receiver at Oklahoma State who had a decade-long career in the Canadian Football League. Two more of his uncles, Michael Bowman at Alabama and Devin Bowman at Georgia, played college football as well.
