Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin said that his mother, Robin Kiffin, died on June 17.
“Will miss you Mom,” Lane wrote on a photograph of his mom and several members of his family on his Instagram story on Tuesday. “Thank you for everything and say hi to Pops. I’m glad your broken heart can now be healed with him again.”
Robin Kiffin, 81, was the wife of Monte Kiffin, who died July 11, 2024. Monte Kiffin served as a defensive coordinator for numerous NFL teams and was an assistant coach on Lane’s staff at Ole Miss.
Monte and Robin were married for five decades. The couple had three children: Lane, Chris and Heidi.
Lane has shared several other pictures on social media of his mother with family members.
Lane’s oldest daughter, Landry Kiffin, also shared photographs of her grandmother on social media, including one at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida. Lane is seen in the photograph alongside his mother holding the Gator Bowl trophy following Ole Miss’ 52-20 victory over Duke in early January.
The cause of Robin Kiffin’s death has not been officially announced.
