If college football teams didn’t know who Bryson Beaver was a week ago, they likely are pretty aware now.
The 4-star quarterback and Oregon Ducks target had one of the best weeks of all players at the Elite 11 Finals in Los Angeles over the past few days, being named as the No. 3 performer on the week from On3. Texas Longhorns quarterback Dia Bell took home the Elite 11 Finals MVP award, with Texas A&M Aggies QB Helaman Casuga being named the second-best passer.
Beaver was named a standout player on Day 1 of the camp, and he followed that by turning some heads on the final day as well. According to On3’s Charles Power, Beaver was dynamic in the throwing session to end the day, saying that he “cemented his status as the fastest-rising quarterback in the 2026 cycle.”
“He flashed arguable the strongest arm of all finalists during drill work in Day 1 and made a handful of the more impressive throws we saw in his pro day workout on Day 2,” Powers wrote. “Beaver capped things off with perhaps the best 7-on-7 sessions on Thursday, hitting 19 of 26 passes for five touchdowns, in impressive fashion.”
It’s been quite an eventful 10 days for Beaver, capped off with this head-turning performance at Elite 11. Rated a three-star commit to the Boise State Broncos a week ago, Beaver has since seen his rating rise to a four-star after being offered by the Ducks. He has taken a couple of visits to SEC schools after receiving offers from the Ole Miss Rebels and Alabama Crimson Tide. He also scheduled an official visit to Oregon for this coming weekend, and is now predicted to land with the Ducks according to a new Crystal Ball prediction from 247Sports’ Blair Angulo.
