Alabama recruiting ranking after Javari Burnett, Rihyael Kelley flips

On Monday, the Alabama Crimson Tide began its’ ascension up the 2026 class rankings by landing the duo of Javari Burnett and Rihyael Kelley.

Two prospects who flipped to the Crimson Tide on Monday from Illinois and Rutgers, respectively, both of Burnett and Kelley are considered as three-star prospects according to the 247Sports Composite recruiting rankings. Of the two, Burnett is a running back out of Tampa Bay Tech in Florida, while Kelley is a safety who attends Winton Woods in Ohio.

Alabama’s fourth-and-fifth commitments so far this month alone, the Crimson Tide’s class ranking is now back on the rise once again following the action Monday, but just how far did they move?

As of Tuesday, June 24, Alabama’s 2026 class currently ranks No. 33 nationally according to the 247Sports Team Rankings, as well as No. 8 in the SEC, with only 10 commitments.

With many top Alabama targets set to announce their decisions in the coming days as well, don’t be surprised if the Crimson Tide are set to rise even further in the near future.
