NORMAN — OU football is still reaping the benefits of its massive recruiting event this past weekend.
The Sooners landed their second commitment Monday when three-star edge rusher Daniel Norman chose OU over Colorado, Miami and UCLA. Norman committed nearly six hours after three-star linebacker Beau Jandreau pledged to the Sooners.
“We gone see Norman in Norman,” Norman told On3 of his commitment.
Norman, the Fort Lauderdale, Florida, native is ranked as the No. 42 edge rusher nationally by 247Sports’ Composite ranking. He totaled 31 tackles, eight hurries and seven sacks as a junior for St. Thomas Aquinas, Florida’s 5A state champions.
The 6-foot-4, 205-pound Norman joins three-star Matthew Nelson as edge rushers in OU’s 2026 class.
With Norman’s commitment, the Sooners’ 2026 class is up to 13 members.
