Nate Bargatze creates Monday night live showcase for newer comics
National comedy superstar uses fame to lift up other comedians
Comedian and Vanderbilt fan Nate Bargatze narrates “All-Access: Vanderbilt Football,” premiering June 24 on SEC Network.The show offers a behind-the-scenes look at Vanderbilt’s 2024 football season, including wins over Alabama, Auburn and Virginia Tech.
One of the few things Nate Bargatze enjoys more than making people laugh is cheering for Vanderbilt football.
That’s why the Grammy Award-nominated and longtime Commodores fan is the right fit to narrate “All-Access: Vanderbilt Football,” which debuts June 24 on SEC Network (6 p.m. CT).
The 30-minute show will re-air later this summer as part of Vanderbilt’s SEC Network Takeover Day.
The show will provide a comprehensive behind-the-scenes look at the past 18 months of the football program and its historic journey in 2024, which included beating Alabama, Auburn and Virginia Tech in the regular season and Georgia Tech in the Birmingham Bowl.
It examines the changes coach Clark Lea made to his staff heading into last season, coming off a 2-10 record in 2023. Lea assumed full-time duties as defensive coordinator and added Jerry Kill (chief consultant to the head coach/senior offensive adviser), Tim Beck (offensive coordinator) and Robert Stiner (director/football sports performance) to the staff.
