Tennessee receives 2026 commitment from four-star Georgia legacy

2026 four-star defensive end Kedric Golston II committed to Tennessee on Friday. He committed to the Vols over Georgia, Virginia Tech and Rutgers.

The 6-foot-2, 235-pound prospect is from Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn, Virginia. He is the son of former NFL defensive tackle Kedric Golston, who played for Tennessee defensive line coach Rodney Garner at Georgia from 2002-05.

247Sports ranks Kedric Golston II as the No. 44 edge prospect in 2026 and the No. 11 player in Virginia.

Tennessee offered him a scholarship on Feb. 6, 2024. Kedric Golston II made four unofficial visits to Tennessee before his officially visiting on June 6.

Tennessee has 10 commitments in its 2026 recruiting class. The other nine commitments include quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver Tyreek King, tight end Carson Sneed, offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, linebacker Braylon Outlaw, defensive lineman C.J. Edwards, defensive lineman Zach Groves, safety K.J. McClain and safety Luke Thompson.

Linebacker JP Peace is Tennessee’s first 2027 football commitment.
