Nebraska football adds offensive tackle Claude Mpouma to class of 2026

After adding three-star offensive tackle Leon Noil Jr. on Monday afternoon, the Nebraska Cornhuskers made another addition to their offensive line. Nebraska added class of 2026 four-star offensive tackle Claude Mpouma on Monday evening.

Mpouma is No. 127 overall player nationally, the No. 12 overall offensive tackle, and the third overall player in his class from the state of Illinois per the On3 Recruiting Rankings.

He transferred to Mount Carmel High School in Chicago ahead of his senior season, a major football powerhouse coming off its third-straight IHSA Class 7A state championship. His head coach is Jordan Lynch, a former Heisman Trophy finalist at Northern Illinois.

The offensive tackle has visited the Huskers on multiple occasions. He took his first visit to Lincoln on November 2, 2024, and has visited twice since.

Nebraska’s class of 2026 holds 11 commits and three offensive tackle prospects. The group ranks No. 46 overall and No. 15 in the Big Ten Conference according to Rivals/On3.
