EA Sports College Football 26 will be released July 10 for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. Tennessee junior defensive back Jermod McCoy is listed as a top defensive player in the upcoming video game.
He has a 94 overall rating and is listed as the No. 5 defensive player in EA Sports College Football 26. McCoy is also ranked as the top cornerback, above Leonard Moore (Notre Dame), Chandler Rivers (Duke), Avieon Terrell (Clemson) and Malik Muhammad (Texas).
Ohio State safety Caleb Downs, Texas linebacker Anthony Hill Jr., Clemson defensive lineman T.J. Parker and South Carolina defensive lineman Dylan Stewart are ranked above him for top defensive players.
McCoy suffered a torn ACL during the offseason in January.
The 6-foot, 193-pound cornerback appeared in 13 games for the Vols as a sophomore in 2024. He recorded 44 tackles, 0.5 tackles for a loss, four interceptions and 13 pass deflections.
