For Florida State football’s offensive lineman Chastan Brown, that is one of his primary focuses during his first offseason.
Brown is listed at 6-foot-8, 265 pounds and is looking to hit the 296-pound mark before the start of the 2025 season.
So far, according to the Warner Robins, Georgia native, he has lost weight than he gained at 256 during the offseason. Granted, the constant summer workouts can easily burn calories even for a lineman like Brown.
To gain nearly 300 pounds in a short span while on a meal plan, Brown is taking advantage of eating his favorite meals, which could help him add weight to his frame.
“Workouts be intense, so you’ve got to eat a certain amount of times a day, so for me, with a red card, we get free food, basically,” Brown said. “I eat Chick-fil-A a lot and Raising Canes.”
When asked about Brown’s go-to meal at Chick-fil-A, he said he ordered a Chick-fil-A sandwich with no pickles, medium fries, medium mac-and-cheese, and a cookie with a large drink, specifically, iced tea or Powerade.
