Georgia offers 4-star OT Bryson Cooley late in the recruiting process

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to four-star offensive tackle recruit Bryson Cooley, who is a member of the class of 2026. Georgia is a bit late in the game to be offering the talented offensive line prospect, but the Bulldogs do have a strong pitch for Cooley.

Cooley is a big offensive lineman that plays high school football for West Jones High School in Laurel, Mississippi, which is about a seven hour drive from Athens, Georgia. The 6-foot-6, 315-pound offensive tackle is a top 300 recruit. He’s ranked as the No. 26 offensive tackle in the country and the No. 13 recruit in Mississippi.

The West Jones standout is an excellent thrower and competes in track and field. Cooley has recently visited LSU, Mississippi State and Alabama.

Georgia is not the only school to offer Cooley late in the process. The Bulldogs join Oregon State, Baylor, Alabama and Florida State in offering the four-star offensive lineman during 2025.

Georgia has four commits along the offensive front in the class of 2026, but could certainly add another lineman. The Dawgs will try to get Cooley on campus sometime this fall to pique his interest.

Georgia had three offensive linemen selected in the first three rounds of the 2025 NFL draft, which is a strong recruiting pitch for the Dawgs.
