There’s something to be said for quality over quantity in many aspects of life—however, when you can have both, that’s a major win. This rings true for Texas A&M’s 2026 recruiting class, led by commander-in-chief Mike Elko.
With the house settlement providing a framework for the school to work from, all eyes have turned to the recruiting trail. While major speculation suggests athletes are chasing money, there’s some truth to NIL playing a significant role. Still, a recurring theme from Aggie recruits has been the staff’s success in building genuine relationships—not just with the athletes, but with their families, too.
So it’s no surprise that A&M landed its third five-star recruit from the 2026 class. On Sunday evening, Bryce Perry-Wright, one of Georgia’s top edge rushers, announced his commitment live on YouTube, declaring that he’ll start his college career at Texas A&M.
College football fans flocked to social media to react to the news.
