Oregon football coach Dan Lanning joined the Ducks as head coach for the 2022 season.
Oregon football is one of the highest-rated teams, with the highest-rated players, in College Football 26, the newly released video game from EA Sports.
Dillon Thieneman (93) and Makhi Hughes (92), two Duck transfers, are the highest-rated Ducks in the game at launch, which was July 7 for those that preordered and July 10 for everyone else that bought the game.

Four others are at least 90 overall. They are receiver Evan Stewart (91), left tackle Isaiah World (91), outside linebacker Matayo Uiagalelei (91) and center Iapani Laloulu (90). Projected starting quarterback Dante Moore is rated an 84 while his competition for the starting spot, Austin Novosad, is rated 77 overall.
