JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – After more than 9½ hours of testimony, cross-examinations and summations held in front of two committees, Bishop McCort Catholic High School had three student-athlete transfers declared eligible and three others ineligible in football Thursday at Richland High School.
Three athletes who transferred from Greater Johnstown High School and three transfers from Windber Area High School had their hearings to determine eligibility in several sports, with football being most prominent during the hours of hearings held in front of the PIAA District 6 Committee and a regional hybrid committee composed of four representatives of both District 5 and District 6.
