A prospect once heavily targeted by the Spartans has announced his commitment to an ACC school
A Michigan State recruiting target in the secondary has announced his commitment to an ACC school.
Devonte Anderson of Winter Garden, Fla. announced his commitment to Louisville on Friday. Anderson made the commitment to the Cardinals known by posting on his social media X account.
Anderson is a three-star cornerback prospect in the 2026 class, per 247Sports. He holds a recruiting rating of 87 and is ranked as the No. 70 cornerback in the class.
Michigan State was once considered heavily in the mix for Anderson, with an official visit planned for late June. However, as the recruiting cycle shifted, Anderson and Michigan State appeared to grow apart with him never taking an official visit to Michigan State in the end.
Anderson was also heavily considering UCF, Auburn, Miami (FL), Rutgers and Maryland.
