Former Ole Miss RB Quinshon Judkins arrested, charged with battery

Former Ole Miss and Ohio State football running back Quinshon Judkins was arrested in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on July 12.

According to the arrest report from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, the Cleveland Browns rookie faces a single charge under Florida Statute 784.03, relating to battery. There is no bond amount set for Judkins, and his charge status is pending trial, according to police records.

In 2023, he rushed for 1,158 yards and 15 touchdowns, and caught 22 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns, then entered the transfer portal.

According to the Akron Beacon Journal, the Browns are “aware and gathering information” on Judkins’ arrest. Browns rookies are scheduled to report for training camp July 18, while the veterans report July 22.

Adam Schefter reported July 13 the NFL is “aware of the matter but will decline further comment” as well.
