SEC football media days are here. After a long offseason, the season is inching closer. The conference’s 16 teams, including LSU football, are split over four days from July 14-17 in Atlanta, GA.
Head coach Brian Kelly speaks to the media on opening day. Quarterback Garrett Nussmeier, wide receiver Chris Hilton Jr. and linebacker Whit Weeks will join him.
The trio leads a team with lofty expectations heading into the 2025 season. With the country’s top transfer portal class bringing experienced pass catchers and pieces all over the defense, the Tigers received plenty of offseason season hype.
Nussmeier returns for his second year as the starter. He’ll work with Hilton, who battled injuries in 2024, as well as SEC transfer receivers such as Barion Brown and Nic Anderson. Weeks returns from injury as well and will look to build on a breakout sophomore season.
