Texas QB Arch Manning is excited to face Texas A&M as the starter

More than a decade plus flew by before Texas A&M and the Texas Longhorns played against each other on the gridiron, as the Aggies moved to the SEC before the 2012 season, while Texas stayed in the Big 12 before joining the Southeastern Conference before the 2024 campaign. After 12 seasons, the Lone Star Showdown was back in our lives for good.

“We are fired up to play them again.”

This sentiment is shared by both rosters, knowing that A&M, if healthy, should be one of the better offenses in the SEC, while the Longhorns are expected to be one of the toughest opponents in the country, and while the offense behind Manning should be great, Texas is loaded on defense, led by linebacker Anthony Hill Jr., defensive end…
