Players added to fill openings on rosters – Scranton Times-Tribune

BLAKELY – Gavin Richards jumped at the chance to play in the 91st Scranton Lions Club Dream Game.

A physical lineman for Mid Valley, the 6-foot-5, 315-pounder stood out as the largest player at Monday’s media day at John Henzes/Veterans Memorial Stadium.

He is one of two players added to the County team. Valley View lineman Nick Marino is also a member of the all-star team. The County lost Delaware Valley lineman Keegan Heath and Abington Heights lineman Asiel Richards, both of whom had to withdraw.

The City team also added a pair of new players after media day. Scranton Prep’s James Pappas and West Scranton’s Derrick Bleach will replace Susquehanna’s Zach Norton and Montrose’s Hudson Aukema, who withdrew.
