Colorado football offers wide receiver Christian Ward

Colorado football offered three-star class of 2026 wide receiver Christian Ward.

The Buffs become Ward’s 33rd offer, with the IMG Academy product holding high-profile offers from Alabama, Georgia, Michigan and LSU.

247Sports ranks Ward as the No. 71 wide receiver in the class of 2026 and the No. 63 player from the state of Florida.

Ward is Colorado’s second recruit to receive an offer this week, both of whom play offensive skill positions, after having only one skill player committed to their 2026 class.

Colorado offering Ward should come as no surprise, as he comes from the same town in Georgia as current Colorado quarterback Julian Lewis. Ward transferred to IMG for his upcoming senior season, but previously attended Walton High School in Marietta, Georgia.

Colorado and Sanders have been busy on the recruiting front recently, adding five commitments since the start of July. The Buffs class of 2026 now sits at nine, with Colorado seemingly in the stage of trying to flip recruits. The program’s current class ranks No. 80 nationally, but still last in the Big 12.
