A four-star running back has announced a scholarship offer from the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Wayne Shanks is a class of 2027 recruit from The Kinkaid School in Houston, TX.
In 2024, Shanks ran for 1,579 yards and 23 touchdowns. He also had 223 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
The running back has had a busy summer. He recently received offers from Purdue, Florida, and Notre Dame. He took an unofficial visit to Florida State on June 19.
The Huskers’ class of 2027 has only one commit at the moment. Four-star quarterback Trae Taylor committed to Nebraska on May 1.
