Having tough losses by Georgia twice last season both at home and in the SEC championship, Texas will be highly motivated to deliver a loss and potentially end Georgia’s historic home winning streak in Athens. The anticipated starting quarterback for Texas, Arch Manning, adds another layer of intrigue, suggesting their regular-season contest could be among the most thrilling of the 2025 season. The winner of the Georgia-Texas game could clinch a berth in the SEC championship.
